Academic Experience Survey (AES) | AMS of UBC (AMS)

Each year the AMS asks students to share what they like/dislike about UBC and their areas of stress. The Academic Experience Survey (AES) gives the AMS a chance to take a pulse of the trends, concerns and desires of UBC students, and to use the results to inform their advocacy work the coming year.

 


Canadian Graduate and Professional Student Survey (CGPSS) | Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS)

The Canadian Graduate and Professional Survey (CGPSS) was undertaken in 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and 2019. This survey contains a wealth of information about graduate student satisfaction and experience. The next CGPSS survey that UBC will participate in is scheduled for 2022.

 


GSS Graduate Satisfaction Survey | UBC Graduate Student Society (GSS)

The Graduate Satisfaction Survey measures the quality of your graduate student experience at UBC Vancouver. The information and opinions gathered will help the GSS identify the most pressing challenges faced by graduate students, and then lobby the university and government for improvements in areas such as graduate student funding, housing, or career preparation.

 


Open Minds Forum | UBC Brand and Marketing

UBC’s Open Minds Forum is an online community of current students, alumni, faculty, and staff who have opted-in to participate in surveys on various aspects of their UBC experience. The Open Minds Forum was born from the need for timely and actionable intelligence that helps develop and refine marketing and communications programs that best meets the needs UBC’s various communities.

 


Teaching Practices Survey | Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) & the Science Centre for Learning and Teaching (Skylight)

In order to better understand faculty teaching practices, attitudes about teaching, and perceptions of the teaching climate at UBC’s Vancouver and Okanagan campuses, the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (UBCV) collaborated with the Centre for Teaching and Learning (UBCO) and Skylight (Faculty of Science, UBCV) to run the 2018 Teaching Practices Survey.
