Welcome to UBC! It’s great to have you as part of our community. 

The New to UBC Survey is your opportunity to help shape the student experience. By sharing your thoughts, motivations, and expectations, you’ll help us better understand how to support you—and future students—through programs, services, and policies that reflect your needs.

Why Take the Survey?

• Share your goals, interests, and any concerns as you begin your studies

The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete and is available through your unique link sent via email.

When Should I Complete It? 

All new undergraduate and UBCO graduate students are invited to complete the survey by September 3. This is your chance to help shape the UBC experience—not just for yourself, but for future students too.

Your Privacy Matters 

Your trust is important to us. Here’s how we protect your information: 

• Your responses are confidential and will be reported only in aggregate form
