Accountability

As part of the provincial government’s commitment to an open and accountable government, each ministry and government organization is required to prepare an annual three-year service plan. The institutional service plan articulates the goals and objectives that an institution hopes to achieve, how it will monitor progress towards its achievements, and how its achievements will contribute to improvement throughout B.C.’s public post-secondary system.

The institutional service plan report articulates the results an institution achieved over the previous year, how its results compare to the targets identified in its previous year's service plan, and how its achievements contribute to those of the public post-secondary system as a whole. The service plan report serves as a means for communicating the performance information necessary for the ongoing management and improvement of the post-secondary system.
